Job Title: Digital Marketing Manager

Job Overview
The Digital Marketing Manager will play a crucial role in supporting the marketing team and taking the lead on specific artist campaigns under the guidance of the Marketing Director. This position requires a blend of creativity, strategic thinking, and excellent organizational skills. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Campaign Development and Execution:
- Craft detailed rollout and release plans for artist projects, ensuring a strategic and cohesive approach for assigned artists
- Execute marketing plans and rollouts, coordinating all elements to ensure timely and effective launches for assigned artists
- Work directly with artists and their management teams to support and enhance marketing efforts.
- Analytics and Strategy:
- Analyze and interpret data from artists’ social media, advertising, and promotional activities to inform marketing strategies.
- Coordinate and assist in the planning and execution of various artist activations and events.
- Create and develop strategies to grow email lists for Rostrum Records and our artists.
- Content Creation and Social Media:
- Develop and initiate social media tools, including flyers, banners, visual clips, and release assets.
- Maintain and distribute the monthly newsletter.
- Research and share relevant social media trends that apply to artists’ marketing strategies.
- Assist in maintaining and updating artist DSP and social media pages
- Budget Management:
- Manage marketing budgets for various campaigns with guidance from the Marketing Director.
- Monitor and report on budget expenditures, ensuring cost-effective use of resources.
- Support and Coordination:
- Provide general support to the Marketing Director, Creative Services, Catalog, and Production teams.
- Handle administrative duties such as creating marketing documents and decks, managing calendars, invoicing, expenses, and billing.’
- Update and distribute weekly artist reports and one-sheets.
Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in marketing, preferably within the music or entertainment industry.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing, social media platforms, and trends.
- Proficiency in using marketing tools and software, such as Adobe Creative Suite, Hootsuite, Mailchimp, Google Analytics, etc.
- Proficiency in using DSP and social platform backends including but not limited to Spotify for Artists, Apple Music for Artists, and Meta for Business.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Passion for music and the entertainment industry.
Salary: $60K-$70K
