As a Music Rights and Sync Licensing Coordinator, you will help perform all copyright functions and asset management for Red Bull Records Commercial Sync Licensing and Music Publishing Administration departments.
You will report directly to both the Senior Manager of Publishing Administration and Director of Brand Partnerships & Commercial Licensing. You will partner with Red Bull Records creatives, client managers, and attorneys to gather the necessary information to sync license and register works with performance rights societies, sub-publishers, and third-party partners.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Areas that play to your strengths; all the responsibilities we’ll trust you with:
ADMINISTRATION COORDINATOR:
- Administrative support for the commercial synch licensing and music publishing administration department
- Manage client-setup and all metadata on audio assets in Music Maestro and Airtable
- Song submissions to U.S. Copyright Office
- Maintain an updated list of clients recorded and released songs
- Help with royalty process from time to time
- Ad hoc projects and responsibilities
PROJECT MANAGEMENT:
- Collaborate with A&R admin to retrieve master song data and writer splits
- Deliver Copyright Work Registration’s to Performing Rights Organizations, and other partners on a bi-weekly basis
- Research and answer requests from external partners, writers, managers, and collection societies
- Improve and refine copyright processes and increase efficiency
SYNC LICENSING:
- Flag tracks for sync and create themed playlists
- Fulfill external client audio requests i.e., audio stems, clean, instrumentals, lyric sheets.
- Log synchronization quotes, confirms, license requests, and final license agreements into label sync tracker
- Maintain contacts, accounts, global roster, and deal tracker, and sent playlists on CRM
- Create and send out sync email blasts
- Support creative pitches across all media departments
- Attend client meetings with the Director of Sync Licensing
EXPERIENCE
Your areas of knowledge and expertise that matter most for this role:
- 1+ years of experience with music and creativity
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited academic institution (Bachelor’s degree preferred or experience in lieu of degree)
- Work with external clients and internal employees across the company at all levels
- Passionate about pitching for synch opportunities, music publishing and music industry as a hole
- English, additional languages an advantage
- Travel 0-10%

The base salary range for this position is $ 46,960 – $70,440 + cash incentives. The actual salary offer may vary based on work experience. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
