PPL – Events and Marketing Executive (UK)

What you’ll be doing…

An exciting opportunity has opened up within the Communications team to support PPL’s events and outreach activities primarily across the music industry. The Events and Marketing Executive will report to the Senior Events and Outreach Manager and will support the development and delivery of PPL’s overall events and engagement strategy, taking into account PPL’s priorities, business objectives and stakeholder relationships.

The role will also support the development and execution of outreach activities as appropriate, including roundtables, briefings, presentations, conferences, showcases and webinars. There is a strong project management aspect to the role as well as key exposure to senior executives.

In this role you’ll be providing operational and administrative support to the Senior Events and Outreach Manager for all PPL events. You’ll be dealing with enquiries, liaising with partner event teams, monitoring attendance levels, communicating with relevant internal parties and highlighting any potential problems. 

What you’ll need…

For this role, we’re looking for a self-starter who has infectious enthusiasm and the ability to work effectively within a team as well as on their own initiative. We need a great communicator at all levels and someone who has the ability to adapt style to suit the audience.

Event management experience is essential for this role as is previous experience of building relationships and dealing with people at all different levels. You’ll need experience of working to deadlines and have excellent time management skills. Music industry events experience is highly desirable.
