What you’ll be doing…
As our Content and Social Media Manager, you’ll lead the development of an online content strategy that effectively delivers firm messages and key content and information to members, prospects and key stakeholders with the objective of generating deeper relationships, acquiring new members and raising the profile of PPL externally.
As the successful candidate you will become a digital ambassador for the organisation, ensuring latest thinking and insights on digital are shared in and outside of the organisation and offering skills and training as appropriate.
Working within the Communications team, this role will develop a content and social media strategy, ensuring that it is focused on delivering high quality digital content based on PPL’s business priorities. It will take responsibility for content creation, including all graphic design, audio and video content, using third party agencies for larger projects as required.
What you’ll need…
We’re looking for someone who can work to develop trust amongst the company’s leadership team, working in a strong collaborative environment within the communications team as well as with PPL’s IT team and other relevant parties as required.
For this role we’re looking for some who has at least 5 years’ experience in a similar role. You’ll need to have experience of creating and managing a wide range of digital content, including videos, infographics and imagery.
Further key requirements:
- Knowledge of image manipulation software and producing graphics for online use
- HTML & CSS coding ability and understanding of CMS systems, SEO and SEM
- Advanced PowerPoint skills and experience in Microsoft Office software
- Significant experience in Adobe Creative Suite is essential as is experience of web analytics and interpreting data to effect change
