Partisan Records – Production Manager (US)

Partisan Records is seeking an experienced Production Manager to join its US team, based at its New York office in Williamsburg.

The position will be full time. Benefits include health insurance, paid vacation and holidays. Salary competitive, dependent on experience.

Key responsibilities: 
  • Working with US and UK label managers to manage global production schedule in line with release schedule 
  • Managing digital metadata CMS 
  • Overseeing delivery of masters
  • Product deliveries to distribution partners 
  • Assembly of metadata and label copy including ISRC and UPC generation 
  • Managing relationships with physical production partners for vinyl and CD manufacturing
  • Identifying best options for manufacturing music and merchandise
  • Working with product managers to develop creative packaging
  • Liaising between manufacturers and designers to ensure all assets meet necessary deadlines
  • Archiving of music and artwork 
  • Warehouse and inventory management
  • Freight, shipping and logistics for stock movements – domestic and international 
  • Liaising with finance department on administration of costs and invoices
Required skills and experience: 
  • Minimum 2+ years managing production in a record label or distributor environment 
  • Acute attention to detail 
  • Ability to multi-task across multiple projects at one time
  • Clear thinker with ability to solve problems, whilst highlighting potential problems when necessary 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills 
  • Positive “can-do” attitude 
  • Awareness and interest in creative packaging 
  • Passion for music production and merchandise
