Partisan Records – International Product Manager (UK)

US independent label group Partisan and Knitting Factory Records is looking for an experienced Product Manager to join the international team working alongside the EU Label Manager in its London office.

Ideal candidates will have a proactive attitude and a broad skillset which allows them to multi-task, getting the job done to a high standard whilst enjoying the fun side to the role. This is an exciting opportunity for a forward thinking individual to join a dynamic independent music company at a pivotal moment. Whilst there is a strong administrative side to the role, there is scope for the right candidate to contribute creatively to the operation too.

Salary: Competitive

  • Minimum 2-3 years experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Very well organised with careful attention to detail
  • Ability to plan and execute marketing campaigns; minimum basic digital marketing knowledge
  • Understanding of the spectrum of revenue streams in the music industry, particularly in recording industry
  • Good grasp of social media best practices
  • Proficiency in Office including Excel
  • Basic design skills and Illustrator/Photoshop proficiency
  • Broad cultural awareness with a passion for music and other arts
  • Experience working with international music companies is a key advantage
Day-to-Day Basics (non-exhaustive list)
  • Writing marketing plans, communicating with key team members internationally to collaborate on developments and providing written updates
  • Working closely with US office to assemble tools and assets for campaigns
  • Communication with artists, management, PR teams and distributors, where applicable, to drive campaigns forward
  • Maintaining and developing social media presence
  • Delivering releases into distributors: sales notes, metadata etc.
  • Coordination of stock orders and delivery
  • Liaising with D2C partner to maintain UK webstore: delivering products, managing inventory and customer service
  • Assisting with label and artist-related events such as label fairs, working to build the label brand locally
  • Building relationships with relevant third parties
  • General administrative support to Label Manager
  • Relevant business-related travel, in the UK and internationally
