Digital Marketing Manager [London-based]


Partisan Records, an independent music company headquartered in Brooklyn with offices in London, LA, and Berlin, seeks an experienced Digital Marketing Manager to join its team. The position will be full-time capacity based in London, reporting to the Director of Audience Development.

The Digital Marketing Manager is our in-house expert on all things related to digital advertising and data collection. They lead on all our online advertising across platforms: sourcing assets, determining targets, strategizing on placements, sharing plans, and assessing results. In addition to ads, they’re also in charge of monitoring analytics, maximizing fan acquisition and data retention, and bespoke digital marketing initiatives.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to

Digital Advertising:

  • Booking ads on Meta, Google, Snapchat, TikTok, etc for developing artists, catalog releases, and label campaigns
  • Monitoring ad campaign performance, making adjustments in real time, and keeping relevant team members informed of status on a daily basis
  • Compiling and analyzing ad reports and sending findings to internal and external team members
  • Being the main point of contact for digital agencies: sharing timelines, budgets, assets, destinations, and communicating priorities and goals
  • Commissioning and managing ad assets, including making basic edits when necessary, and overseeing workload and priorities of videographers on retainer
  • Researching new ad platforms and ideas for ad creative
  • Overseeing and executing influencer marketing campaigns, both directly and through agencies
  • Educating artists and artist management on digital advertising needs and objectives
  • Sorting advertising access for all artists and partners
  • Working with promoters on live ads: access, targeting, timeline, dark posts, etc

Digital Marketing:

  • Leading online creative marketing initiatives throughout ideation, execution, and reporting
  • Managing updates to artist and label websites
  • Maintaining text and e-mail databases, including coordinating messaging for artists and labels
  • Executing the technical requirements of partnerships with social media platforms, DSPs, and brands
  • Managing livestreams for artists on platforms including YouTube and Twitch
  • Building out campaign pages for advertising and CRM destinations
  • Keeping the Partisan store up to date with new artists, featured banners, featured collections, etc
  • Setting up and monitoring D2C integrations for artists and label ie: mailing list sign-ups, Google product feeds, FB/IG shops
  • Pulling digital highlights from website/store/advertising for active artists weekly
  • Working with artists/managers to get access to all analytics and digital platforms after signing a new artist
  • Setting up Linkfire boards and creating wrapped links for artist releases, tours, etc
  • Setting up DSP and D2C contests

Skillset requirements
  • 3+ years digital marketing & advertising experience in the music industry
  • A thorough understanding of the ever-evolving digital landscape and current trends in social media, web communities, and advertising
  • Proficiency booking ad campaigns within Meta, Google, TikTok, Snapchat, Reddit, etc
  • Ability to measure and report on the success of campaigns
  • Basic knowledge of website build process, hosting platforms, SEO, and retargeting pixels
  • Proficiency in CRM platforms including Active Campaign, Mailchimp, MailerLite, etc
  • Proficiency in data analysis via social, ad, and streaming analytics backends and third-party resources ie. Chartmetric, Trendpop, etc
  • Experience in commissioning content and ad creative
  • A keen design eye and ability to quality control visual assets
  • Extremely organized with attention to detail
  • Proactive business-friendly style in written and verbal communication
  • Strong time management skills; ability to set priorities, multitask and meet deadlines
  • Internal drive to both complete assignments and go the extra mile to achieve results for our artists
  • Passionate about Partisan and affiliate labels’ catalog and familiarity with the current artist roster
