One Little Independent Records are seeking an experienced Royalties Manager .
Candidates should have 3+ years’ post qualification experience at a record label, music publisher, or similar business, ideally including experience of royalty accounting.
Reporting directly to the OLI GM. This role is based in our South London offices.
The OLI group of companies includes OLI Records, Crass Records , OLI Publishing ,OLI management and Second Wind Digital
OLI has been working and operating for over 40 years and of OLI Records, and the current roster current includes Bjork, Asgeir, Poppy Ackroyd, Gabriel Olafs, Arny Margret, Bad Breeding, and God Damn.
KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY INCLUDE
Working as part of a team of 3, you will prepare a high volume of artist statements bi-annually as well as assisting the Head of Finance as required.
You will be responsible for entering / importing data into the royalties system, setting up contracts, (currently SR1), producing and checking statements and dealing with queries both internally and from artists and managers.
You’ll be a self starter who likes taking tasks to completion, is able to manage workload to hit deadlines and is confident dealing with queries from a range of sources.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- We’re looking for someone with a minimum of 3 years experience in a relevant environment, who has strong proven systems and excel experience and is highly numerate with strong analytical skills.
- Knowledge of Content ID supply and best practice.
- Excellent excel skills and total comfort working with data in general.
- Knowledge of SR1 preferable, or with a royalty system
