POSITION OVERVIEW

The role of Music and Culture Team Leader requires a highly motivated individual who loves a challenge. This is a fulltime position requiring some weekend and late night hours.

Reporting to the Brand Manager this role is responsible for organising and activating all consumer marketing relating to the Music scenes.

High Levels of Travel (some international) should be expected.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Create fans of the brand through the creation and activation of a local marketing program:
  • Deliver a high-energy quality brand experience through activation of your plan across 12 months, focused on Electronic & Hip-Hop music and urban street culture
  • Responsible for the identification, negotiation and activation of events & marketing projects
  • Responsible for the identification, negotiation and ongoing relationships with artists from each of the scenes
  • Identify and build Media & PR Partnerships
  • Work closely with the digital team to ensure the plan is scaled socially
  • Actively generate trial of Relentless through sampling programs
  • Responsible for identifying and managing partnerships with 3rd party brands (across both marketing and commercial projects)
  • Efficient administration of budgets, contracts and compliance with company policy
  • Communication with Brand Manager, the wider team and Head Office
EXPERIENCE AND ATTITUDE

The Ideal Experience:

  • Budget management experience
  • Previous experience with event co-ordination
  • Proven ability to work on own initiative in an unsupervised environment
  • Gifted and natural communicator in any media
  • High standard of business English
  • Full and clean driving license
  • Ability to work independently and achieve goals and meet timelines.
  • Interest in and knowledge of electronic music, hip hop and urban street culture highly desirable.
