Mom + Pop is a 14-year-old independent record company with 20 employees. The company is seeking an Executive Assistant to the Founder who will operate and collaborate within two main functions.

Function 1: First and foremost, the ideal hire will liaise as the Founder’s “right arm.” This person will support the founder in maximizing their time on the most impactful label-wide initiatives. They must be highly organized and intuitive and will be able to prioritize executive needs i.e. manage the founder’s calendar, incoming items, requests, and music, manage phones and other technological needs, and general organization. We are seeking someone who is a confident communicator capable of interfacing with creative executives, colleagues at all levels, artists and their managers, producers, and studios.

Function 2: This person will also support the Founder in A&R across a broad range of A&R assistant functions including (but not limited to) research, maintaining databases and contacts, asset management, submissions, show coverage as well as providing ongoing logistical support to artists, their teams and Founder where needed.

Ideal candidates will be passionate, proactive, organized, analytical, have their finger on the pulse of culture, and be willing to learn and grow with a world-class company in the areas of Executive support and A&R. Qualified individuals could come from “entry-level plus” experience within the music ecosystem i.e. executive assistant, A&R assistant or admin, studio, publishing, day-to-day management, booking agency, promoter, etc.

Mom+Pop is headquartered in New York City with an office in Los Angeles. This role is open to Los Angeles-based applicants (preferred). Remote applicants will also be considered. The salary range will be based on the level of experience.
