Overview:
We are looking for a bright and motivated individual to join the Metropolis Songs team in RAK Studios, London. The primary role of the Copyright Assistant will be assisting the Copyright Manager with all tasks focused on ensuring our catalogue of songs is correctly registered globally, as well as helping to manage our audio in various ways.
You must have an interest in Music Publishing and Copyright in particular, as well as some working knowledge of music publishing and the roles and purposes of collection societies. Please only apply if this is you.
The team is small and focused, and you will be encouraged to learn and understand the various aspects and roles within a modern publishing company.
Copyright Assistant Role
- You will work alongside and assist the Copyright Manager and liaise with various partners, to ensure registrations are correctly handled.
- You will aid with the organisation and delivery of metadata and audio.
- You will deal with general enquiries and provide support and updates.
- You are motivated to work in Music Publishing, especially within Copyright.
- You are tech-savvy, analytical & have experience working with Excel.
- You have strong communication skills.
- You have a strong attention to detail.
- You can work as part of a team and have good organisation skills.
