Marathon Artists – International Project Manager (UK)

We currently have an exciting opportunity for an International Project Manager to join our growing team, based at Tileyard / Kings Cross in London.

Marathon Artists is home to some of the most exciting new music including Courtney Barnett, Pond, Max Jury, Jamie Isaac and Baaba Maal.

We are focused on discovering, developing and breaking amazing artists on a global scale. Our mission is to create careers whilst never removing art from its culture. Our passion is to partner with artists in realising their vision, making music heard by as many as possible, for as long as can be. We’re in it for the long run.

Marathon Artists is also home to imprint labels House Anxiety, MOVES Recordings and Mahogany Records.

House Anxiety launched in 2008, with releases from King Krule to Forth Wanderers, Childhood to The Big Pink.

MOVES launched in 2017 with the release of the first official UK Afrobeats compilation, MOVES: The Sound of UK Afrobeats. The label has released music from Belly Squad, Afro B, Skengdo x AM, Finesse Foreva, IQ, Harlem Spartans, Rai-Elle with many more exciting projects in the pipeline.

Mahogany is one of the best music discovery platforms in the world delivering cinematic live sessions, unique live concerts and a carefully curated blog and since their launch in 2017 now releasing music on their label Mahogany Records (Kawala, Scott Quinn and Model Man).

As well as the record label, publishing and management arms, Marathon Artists is powered by a special ability to navigate music’s ever-evolving relationship with technology, showcased by its own start-up incubator, Marathon Artists Labs.

Our ideal candidate will have previous International Project Management experience within a fast-paced label environment, with proven experience of successfully rolling out impactful international marketing campaigns for developing acts.

  • Analyse data and contextualize artists’ works to identify opportunities.
  • Devising and planning international marketing strategies and campaigns with UK and global teams.
  • Work closely / liaise with Marathon Artists’ global teams and distributors and artists, artists’ managers, agents.
  • Overseeing and executing: international marketing plans, reporting back, budget control, marketing spend, retail planning, overseeing stock orders and accounting.
