As the Social Media Manager and Content Creator, you will play a key role in shaping MAHOGANY’s brand identity, audience development, and overall audience growth through compelling original content and cross-platform strategy capitalising on reactive opportunities while maintaining clear and informed long-term social media objectives.

  • Able to travel to the Shoreditch office at least 3-days per week.
  • 2+ years demonstrated experience in social media management and content creation through sustained and accelerated growth phases within a culture .
  • Deep understanding of the Mahogany brand and portfolio, as well as an understanding of the brand language and music-focused audience
  • Proven experience in creating and editing video content (ProRes / DLSR / Smartphone) from a social media perspective with short-form content being the focus. This includes a creative approach to video creation, ideation and execution, proficiency in video editing and audio capture.
  • Proven experience of photo/video editing on desktop and mobile apps (Instagram, TikTok, Canva, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Premiere).
  • Extensive knowledge on major and emerging social channels, with clear understanding of service-specific features, best-practises and guidelines.
  • Strategic outlook with the ability to develop and execute data-driven social media strategies.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

  • Produce high-quality visual and written content, including photos, videos, graphics, and copywriting, that resonates with our target audience and showcases Mahogany’s brand values.
  • Develop and execute tailored social media strategies across existing and expanding Mahogany network, including but not limited to Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, Email, Discord, Telegram and Newsletters.
  • Create and manage social media calendars for each Mahogany vertical, working with departments, artist teams and partners to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of all strategies, posts and communications.
  • Create social media strategies and assets using the extensive Mahogany content archives – being able to identify, serialise, edit, export and upload videos for use on social media.
  • Conceptualise and create original video content (DSLR or mobile, or both) tailored to the Mahogany and selected artists’ audiences
  • Work with the central marketing department in conceptualising paid campaigns through to implementation and reporting.
  • Community management: reply to comments, feedback across platforms, and elevate key messages to senior management.
  • Collaborate with the internal teams to create captivating assets for campaign specific social media posts, advertisements, and marketing campaigns.
  • Monitor social media trends, analyse performance metrics, and optimise strategies to maximise reach and impact.
  • Foster relationships with platform stakeholders, musicians, festivals, music based content creators and more, to maximise and amplify brand reach across all platforms.
  • Identify, promote and leverage user-generated content and to enhance brand reach and grow networks.
  • Attend shows and press junkits to secure original content, grow networks and generally increase visibility and reach.
