London College of Creative Media – Youth Music Officer (UK)

Are you a recent graduate in either Jazz or Contemporary Music with the ability to teach and inspire others?

Are you a charismatic musician and workshop leader who can develop and deliver our new youth music programme?

Do you like to direct bands in all contemporary musical styles and help young musicians create and perform their own music?

The Youth Music Officer will be responsible for developing workshops and courses including curriculum, assignments and the production of final project.

The post holder will be responsible for directing singers, rhythm section players and horn players to perform and reinterpret songs from the contemporary repertoire and complete an enhanced DBS check.

You will be building, managing and safeguarding a team of freelance workshop tutors and briefing the marketing department on content and communications.
