The role is permanent, on a full time basis (40 hours per week) – Salary £x PA + bonuses.

The Director of Commercial will be an excellent leader, who is a master in revenue generating activities with a proven track record of coaching and mentoring sales executives to exceed targets.

The Director of Commercial will be working with artists in the music industry. A love of music is a must, and some familiarity with the music industry is also preferred but not necessary.

At Liberty Music PR, the Director of Commercial is a pivotal role and at the core of everything we do.

You will be the person in charge of driving team success and all commercial aspects of the business, which in turn drives our company forward.

  • Support and guide the Founders of the business – working collaboratively towards the same goal of ’empowering artist independence’ and providing essential services at competitive prices
  • Manage the marketing/content creation team to grow our brand and increase inbound business
  • Oversee the service teams rosters of artists to help drive up repeat business
  • Overall responsibility for the A&R division performance, managing the Head of A&R and working closely with the wider team, developing all, and being a role model for the whole department
  • Empower and motivate the A&R team to achieve reach stretch targets and ensure they also work on their personal growth
  • Forecast, and execute the agreed budgets for the monthly sales target of the business
  • Streamline our sales process – conducting a full review and make recommendations on improvements and action accordingly
  • Significantly impact the business and accelerate sales and ensure we are ‘building for growth’ each year and every year
  • Responsible for all the commercial opportunity of the business – identifying new sources of income as well as protecting and growing existing revenue
  • In collaboration with the leadership team Develop and Execute a long term Sales Strategy and for the next 12 – 24 months – incorporating new streams of revenue and markets
  • Responsible for re-launching the Brand Partnerships department – by also bringing on and negotiating brand deals, assisting with the recruitment of team members
  • Come up with innovative ways to sell our services – utilising tech, smart software, apps
