Our students absolutely love The Music Box, our custom built six storey creative hub – and you will be in charge the building, the licensed entertainment venue and all the professional music facilities! This includes three recording studios, a 120 cap fully licensed venue as well as classrooms, performance and practice rooms, three Mac labs, piano rooms and soundproofed edit suites.
We already have a reputation for attracting, nurturing and producing switched on, industry ready talent. Our graduates are musicians, songwriters and producers working with the likes of George Ezra, Dua Lipa & Jordan Rakei; artists in their own right like Tom Walker, Rhys Lewis and composer Nicholas Morris Rarity or rising executives at leading music companies like Warner Chappell, Universal Music and Live Nation.
We are seeking a Technical Services Manager responsible for running and leading the daily operation of the college. You will lead the Technical Services team in keeping with the vibrant, family environment we are known for at LCCM. You will ensure the provision of equipment and facilities are up to the highest standards to enable effective teaching and learning and high student satisfaction. You will be central to the organisation and running of exciting events on campus and our own venue, supervising the installation and maintenance of equipment and monitoring the facilities and building.
We are looking in particular for someone with passion and experience in the following areas:
- Audio, Video and IT Equipment: Analogue/digital mixing desks, Logic X, Pro Tools, Ableton, Focusrite Rednet, A/V smart screen, recording techniques,
- Event Organisation Management and Organisation: Live sound engineering, Stage management, live sound recording, space booking and management, licensed events, event Health and Safety and risk management.
- Facilities and equipment Management: Management and repair of music equipment (studio, microphones, PAs, drumkits, amplification), management of equipment and building contracts, facilities team management.
