Kobalt Music Group – Royalty Matching Assistant (UK)

We are seeking an accurate candidate with a strong work ethic, total attention to detail and the ability to work at a sustained high level of performance to join the Neighbouring Rights Distribution Team in our London office.

Kobalt has developed centralised, automated and efficient administration services supported by a scalable, proprietary, dedicated system using the latest technology.

Because of Kobalt’s innovative approach, Kobalt offers a reduction in royalty collection time of up to 50%, more effective collection as well as substantially improved transparency.

You will support the Distribution team in data matching processes required to enable accurate royalty payments to our clients. You will have strong numerical and organisational skills, high attention to detail, an affinity for technology and innovation, ability to solve loosely defined problems, a passion for music and Kobalt’s values.

  • Import and Convert incoming Societies’ statements
  • Process all royalty data (matching recordings, right types and usage dates)
  • Good attention to detail
  • Ability to be comfortable working on repetitive tasks for long periods of time
  • Ability to work to deadlines
  • Good level of written and spoken English
  • Based at River Building, Cannon Street, London EC4R 3TE
  • Hours are 37.5 hours per week. Generally, these are taken between 9.30-6 with 1 hour for lunch but amendments to these hours can be agreed on a case by case basis with line manager approval
