Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Playlist Curation & SEO Manager to manage our playlists on major digital streaming platforms (DSPs) including SEO optimisation. This role requires a passion for music, a deep understanding of playlist dynamics & SEO, and a strategic mindset to drive performance and engagement across all platforms.

Key Responsibilities:
Playlist Strategy: Build, own and regularly update the Prisma Playlist Strategy.

Playlist Management: Listen to releases and regularly update playlists across all major DSPs with fresh, relevant tracks, SEO optimized titles and descriptions, while monitoring performance and collaborating with internal teams to enhance visibility and maintain a competitive edge. Work with Operations team to ensure playlists are being mirrored across all DSPs using digital playlisting updating tools such as Soundiiz.

Playlist Tracking: Ensure Prisma-owned playlists are tracked as per current Prisma tracking tools and processes, and optimise where needed.

Playlist Creation: Create & manage new playlists. Develop new Prisma owned playlists tailored to specific themes, genres, moods, languages or events, aligned with Prisma’s brand identity and audience preferences. Work with A&R and other departments on idea generation for these new playlists.

Performance Analysis & Reporting: Track & analyze Prisma owned playlist performance metrics (e.g. plays, skips, saves, completion rates, track placement performance) to identify trends and opportunities for optimization. Work with the Ad Performance Manager on playlist ads performance. Regularly compile & analyse popularity score data and amend playlisting strategy as needed. Recommend & integrate strategies to grow playlist engagement & market share. Provide regular updates to the team on playlist performance, insights, and recommendations.

SEO Trends: Keep on top of current SEO content search trends.

Required Experience:
Proven experience in playlist curation and management.
Strong analytical skills and proficiency with data tools (e.g. S4A, Chartmetric, FUGA)
Exceptional knowledge of music genres, trends, and audience preferences.
Experience in or understanding of music marketing and promotion strategies.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.

Skills and Competencies:

Strong self-motivation and ability to work independently in a remote setting
Understanding of mood music, instrumental music, and global sounds
Comfortable using collaboration and productivity tools (Google Workspace, etc)
