Overview

Globally renowned electronic music labels, Anjunabeats and Anjunadeep are responsible for breaking electronic music stars Ben Böhmer, Above & Beyond, Tinlicker and Eli & Fur among many others. Alongside their recent ambient imprint Reflections, the Anjuna label family covers the full spectrum of electronic music from ambient and electronica through house, breakbeat and melodic techno and trance. We also manage our partner distribution labels This Never Happened, 17 Steps and Ophelia.

As Head of Artist Marketing at Anjunabeats/Anjunadeep, you will lead the day to day operations of all digital and non-digital artist marketing strategies, manage the Senior Product Managers and Artist Marketing Team, as well as personally manage a select group of priority marketing campaigns. You will advise and consult on all priority campaigns across wider Involved Group partner labels (This Never Happened/Ophelia/17 Steps).


Responsibilities
  • Oversee all artist marketing including research, competition analysis, budget management and campaign strategy
  • Lead artist marketing campaigns and strategy across all physical and digital marketing for select high priority campaigns
  • Oversee and develop innovative content and creative strategies in collaboration with in-house Art Department and third party agencies when appropriate
  • Shape Artist Development and positioning strategies (with emphasis on building fan bases, connecting acts with the Anjuna audience and developing their own unique story)
  • Manage the Product Marketing and Artist Marketing Teams, guiding thinking, developing campaign strategies and artist development plans
  • Develop narrative threads and audience development strategies, working in collaboration with Audience Marketing team
  • Collaboration across teams and departments to deliver integrated and innovative campaign
  • Hire and manage external promo teams, relevant third parties and agencies
  • Identify new Artist Marketing opportunities including non-traditional partners
  • Develop overall campaign strategies and manage campaign budgets
  • Develop relationships with artist managers, touring agents and creative third party teams for priority artists, ensuring best possible inter-team communication and creative collaboration
  • Manage and develop artwork, physical product and merch strategies on all artist campaigns in collaboration with in-house Art Department and specialists
  • Oversee, develop and implement campaign workflow and reporting
  • Motivate, nurture and support team members, inspjring ambition and focus towards campaign goals

Ideal candidates will have
  • At least 2 years experience in a senior artist marketing role running dynamic, high profile and artist campaigns
  • Proven ability leading multiples teams towards unified, coordinated objectives
  • A deep passion for electronic music and our brands
  • High attention to detail and organisational skills
  • A collaborative mindset and love of working within team environment
  • Be prepared to work from a central London office
