About The Job


Strategic Responsibility

The Copyright Coordinator will support the Director of Music Administration & Digital Rights and the Copyright Administrator in all aspects of copyright and intellectual property for Integrity’s global song catalog.

This will include maintaining song copyright information in the company’s current song database Music Maestro to ensure its accuracy, and handling inquiries from various global performing rights organizations (PROs), global collective management organizations (CMOs), third party song publishers and partners (located largely in the United States), sub-publishing partners, and internal queries regarding Integrity’s administered global song catalogs, songwriters, and clients.

The role will also involve monitoring and reporting on the company’s revenue from song copyrights and intellectual property, as well the opportunity to research, explore and facilitate new global revenue streams by staying current with industry trends and attending industry meetings and events.

The role will lend support to all aspects of the internal and external song copyright workflow, with an expectation for accurate and timely task execution. The role requires weekly meetings with the Director for updates about ongoing tasks, with an emphasis on continued improvement of the team’s overall efficiency. Based in Brighton, you have the opportunity to work alongside a global team, which may require some afterhours meetings.


Position Requirements
  • Formal Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Music Business, or related field. Will accept equivalent work experience.
  • Experience: 1 to 2 years experience in music publishing and copyrights. Experience with contracts, product licensing, and royalties preferred but not required.

Specialized Knowledge/Certification:

  • Ability to work in a fast paced, deadline driven environment. Capable of self-management and working with most team members being virtual.
  • A proven track record of success in understanding music business terms and conditions.
  • Ability to understand the financial aspects of contracts and other business arrangements as well as the ability to contribute to negotiation strategies. Effective communicator both orally and in writing with strong analytical skills and interpersonal skills.
  • Capable of multi-tasking and handling several assignments. Focus on responsiveness with strong time management and organizational skills.

Working Conditions:

Comfortable working conditions, handling light weight, intermittent sitting, standing and walking.

  1. Working environment – office co-working space with some noise

  3. Normal business hours (9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.) are typical but must have a willingness and flexibility to work during evenings and weekends if/when necessary.
  4. Some travel may be required.

Job Description

You will:

  • Maintain the accuracy of all Integrity owned or controlled song copyrights, and answer any inquiries about the company’s song catalogs and intellectual property rights.
  • Responsible for song registrations with various PROs, including ASCAP, BMI, SESAC in the USA and PRS/MCPS and ICE in the UK (under guidance from the Director) and available to assist in the timely and accurate song registration process with various collection societies and sub-publishers.
  • Responsible for continual auditing of the song publishing database and liaising with the larger team to troubleshoot registration errors. To include collection of ISWC codes, PRO work codes, CCLI #s and outside ISRC codes for all songs in the owned/controlled Integrity Music catalogs.
  • Research, explore and facilitate new revenue streams by staying current with industry trends and attending industry meetings and events.
  • Monitor and report on revenue streams and assist in maintaining a tracking system to ensure all revenue is
    received in an accurate and timely basis.
  • Become a Music Maestro expert by learning the system and being a knowledgeable resource for all users in answering questions and navigating the system to retrieve information and ensure the accuracy of data.
  • Become an expert with Song Metric Data and consistently work to refine and improve the process.
  • Develop and build relationships with representatives at the PROs, CMOs, CCLI, sub-publishers, etc. related
    to the song publishing catalogue.
  • Provide song publishing licensing support as needed.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
