IndieFlow – Head of Commercial Partnerships (Remote, US)

We are looking for an experienced Head of Commercial Partnerships to generate music partnerships between IndieFlow qualified artists and brands.

The ideal candidate for the role is a self starter, with great communication skills. An excellent negotiator with connections in the media, music and entertainment.


Requirements
  • Previous experience in negotiating music-related brand sponsorship deals, sync & licensing deals or similar commercial partnership roles in the music space
  • Entrepreneurial spirit with demonstrated success in driving new business from concept, to sale, and through the execution phase
  • Manage the roster of key artists from IndieFlow that support and build both artist and brand awareness
  • Ability to tailor music-focused brand campaigns
  • Experience in media, entertainment, brand and/or agency industries required; music industry experience a plus
  • A strong network of clients who hold decision making responsibilities for strategic marketing partnerships – advantage
  • Strong relationships in media, entertainment, brand, and agency industries
  • Ability to communicate effectively and tactfully
  • Strong organizational and time management skills: ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously that are deadline sensitive
  • Excellent writing, communications, and negotiation skills
  • Self-starter, will take initiative with new projects and will have the ability to make cold calls
  • Previous A&R roles – advantage
  • Good understanding of music licensing and copyright-related requirements – advantage
  • Deep knowledge and extensive passion for the music/tech space
  • Goal driven with a “deal closing” personality
  • Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications including Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook with added benefit of Adobe software familiarity

Responsibilities
  • Developing strategic marketing partnerships that mutually benefit both artist and brandCollaborating with agency partners to define opportunities tailored to each artist opportunity
  • Monitoring KPI’s to achieve the company’s business goals
  • Developing brand relationships, strategic pitches, and campaign execution
  • Engaging with potential brands and ad agencies
  • Building new processes from concept, sale, and execution
  • Handle account management, nurturing and retaining relationships with brands and artists
  • Efficiently reaching out to brands and tech-companies to pitch IndieFlow artists
  • Communicating accurately to the product team the needs of the brands
