As the Technical Lead for Video, Social and UGC services you will work with ICE’s customers to develop a vision for the products and services ICE needs to offer in relation to music services such as YouTube, Facebook and others. The products and services to be developed will ensure our interactions with music services in this area provide ICE and our customers with the levels of insight, transparency and analysis they require and ensure appropriate value is derived for the use of music in this area.
The role will focus on delivering improvements to our current data exchange processes in this area and in the design and implementation of new solutions that create greater understanding, efficiency and/or remove the current obstacles that prevent us from driving greater customer confidence, retention and acquisition in relation to YouTube and other UGC services.
Working with our customers and internal teams, such as business intelligence, to identify and implement new and/or improvements and optimisations to existing workflows you will deliver increased revenues, data accuracy and visibility through providing leadership on complex engineering projects, managing project schedules, identify risks and communicate progress to internal and external stakeholders.
The role involves the creation of development proposals and the ownership of these through project planning, execution, implementation and review. It will be vital to assess the value/benefits of DSP-side technologies and plan to successfully integrate with these where appropriate. You will support ICE’s senior management in strategic operational planning for new and existing video, social and UGC platforms and be an advocate for new service developments to ICE’s existing and prospective customers.
The person we are seeking will have the drive to build a world class suite of products and services and to help cultivate a culture of innovation and change. They will be a confident communicator, able to converse with tech leads at Google & Facebook, and have strong and tactful leadership skills with the tenacity to take solutions from customer business need to full deployment and iterative improvement. They will be able to quickly and effectively understand DSP technologies, ICE’s systems, ICE’s customers’ systems and be able to leverage this understanding to deliver a vision for the products and services we require and plans to deliver these. They will also have the ability to communicate technical concepts in a non-technical way and to pursue solutions through collaborative approaches as a dynamic team player.
