Formed by PRS for Music, GEMA and STIM, ICE Services Ltd is an international company designed to simplify the process of digital music licensing across Europe and beyond, ensuring that associated royalties are paid quickly, accurately and effectively to our songwriter, composer and music publisher customers.
We operate in a fast-moving and sophisticated market and are looking for proactive, flexible, energetic people to join us.
As a small company in a highly fluid and complex market, ICE Services will require all its employees to adopt a flexible, positive and entrepreneurial approach to the developing requirements of their role and responsibilities.
We have a new and exciting opportunity for a Distribution and Accounts Payable Analyst to join this dynamic, fast-moving, venture based in Kings Cross, London.
This new role will play a vital part in helping ICE achieve its mission of striving to accurately and comprehensively compensate authors, composers and publishers on an international basis.
Based within a small finance team, this role will also work alongside all ICE teams, both in the UK and in Germany, and will be critical in ensuring ICE royalty distributions happen on time, and to the highest standards ICE is committed to delivering to its customers.
You’ll be working with new systems, processes, policies and high volumes of data, all within a multiple deadline driven environment, so there will be many opportunities to identify changes and efficiencies to constantly improve ICE’s best in class service offering to our music industry customers.
Your key tasks will be scheduling, running and reconciling multiple distributions for all ICE customers, ensuring quality, accuracy and timeliness.
You’ll help resolve queries, both internal and external, and you’ll help support a wide range of financial activities, including Accounts Payable activities.
The ideal candidate will have outstanding attention to detail, and a background in financial services.
You’ll be adaptable when working with financial systems and concepts, and using data in an intelligent way to support business analysis and decision making processes.
A problem solver, you’ll also have excellent communication skills and be comfortable with getting stuck in to financial detail and ensuring the job gets done.
If you are a self-motivated individual, and would like to work within a team with a passion for ensuring creators receive fair value, then this may be the role for you.
If this sounds like you and you have a passion for making a difference, please apply by sending your CV and covering letter to firstname.lastname@example.org by Wednesday 30th May 2018. (PRS for Music is providing services on behalf of the company)
