In the past 12 months, Instrumental has launched its own in-house global distribution solution, expanded our catalogue to over 3.5k records, topped 1bn streams and made history with a 4th consecutive UK Christmas #1 single. Instrumental is backed by Blenheim Chalcot, the UK’s leading digital venture builder.
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
Rights Management on all UGC platforms
Management of content issues and conflicts on YouTube, Facebook and other UGC services, working with our delivery partner to create efficient workflows to prevent and solve these
Management of our artist’s channels/content on YouTube & UGC services
Advise our artists and marketing team on how YouTube can be used to grow their catalogues, creating best practices/guidelines for internal and external use. Suggest and coordinate UGC Service marketing initiatives for our artists, with the frtyfve marketing team
Maximise growth opportunities for our catalogue at YouTube
Be at the forefront of new platform developments and trends, working with the business to make the most out of all new opportunities
What We Need to See:
- At least 12 months experience working with YouTube CMS
- A solid understanding of Facebook Rights Manager
- Understanding of music monetisation on YouTube & UGC services
- Proven understanding of social marketing
- A passion for music and technology
- Excellent attention to detail and communication skills
- Strong analytical skills
- High degree of self-motivation and autonomy
- UK based
What We’d Like to See:
- Prior relationship with YouTube
- Prior experience at a music company
- Knowledge of content delivery processes, DDEX and music metadata requirements
