frtyfve records launched in 2018 as a label for emerging independent artists and is rethinking every element of how a music business works with the next generation of talent.
From discovering new artists through data alone & signing talent globally, through to delivering the marketing and audience development services that independently minded artists need most, frtyfve is all about doing things differently.
In 18 months the label has built a catalogue of over 1,000 recordings, topped 200,000,000 streams and achieved major chart success with back to back UK Christmas #1s.
Responsibilities:
- Data & sales driven A&R: Identify artists showing significant engagement and growth using Instrumental technology.
- Work with the Artist Prospects team to identify and outreach to artists to sign tracks to the label
- Develop all communication documents needed to pitch frtyfve to talent, including but not limited to: email copy, project overview and pitch decks, case studies and any visual assets required.
- Pitch frtyfve/partnership opportunities to artists, management companies and independent labels.
- Build strong relationships with artists, management companies and independent labels.
- Develop compelling pitches and proposals for management companies and artists to sell / upsell.
- Use Hubspot to track artist deals
- Track all outreach statistics and provide detailed summaries for internal and client use
- Assist in the A&R process of acts signed to frtyfve/partnership with the label. This will include but is not limited to, identifying songwriters & producers fit for artists, arranging sessions, providing track feedback in the creative process, arranging for mixing and mastering etc.
- Keep up to date with current and future trends in music, music business, digital trends & pop culture which you think could be beneficial for the label and our artists.
