Who Are We?
Feel For Music is a small independent music company based out of Metropolis Studios in West London. Our core business is music supervision, licensing and bespoke composition with our traditional focus being on trailers and in-game music for the video game sector, where we have won numerous awards for our work. We have recently also launched a Film & TV division; and Player-1, our music licensing platform has recently gone into beta.
We have worked on a number of the world’s biggest game franchises including Assassins Creed, Final Fantasy, Life is Strange, Space Invaders and many more. Our current client base includes a number of major game publishers Ubisoft, Square Enix, Epic, Plaion, Tencent, IOI. We have over a billion plays of our music on YouTube and tens of millions of plays on Spotify. Our music regularly features on all the major TV networks around the world including Netflix, Amazon Prime, BBC, NBC, Fox and hundreds more.
We are committed to inclusivity and diversity in all aspects of our business, and encourage qualified applicants from any and all backgrounds regardless of race, religion, gender or sexuality.
The Role
Working closely with the senior supervisors; you would be an integral part of what is a small and close-knit team. The role is multi-disciplined working across all the different facets of the business – supervision, licensing and bespoke composition. There is a core music creative element but also requires a keen understanding of music rights, great communication, attention to administrative detail and the genuine ability to work as part of a team. You would be working with existing clients and also expected to help develop new business opportunities. As with every small business, the ability to multitask and work across a variety of different things is essential.
We offer some flexibility with hours and hybrid work but our preference is for employees to be in our Chiswick office 4 days a week. There also is an expectation you will be keen to attend evening gigs and networking events, as well developing in-person working relationships with clients and rightsholders.
The role will be best suited to someone with a great ear, outgoing personality, that is self-motivated with a strong drive to succeed. We are very open to applicants from both music and gaming industries. Our business has grown significantly over the last 10 years and there is a huge opportunity to become a key part of the team and grow with the business.
