Who are we?

F That is a digital creative agency that specialises in animation, working predominantly in the music industry. Some of the content we make includes official videos, AR filters, 2D and 3D animations, games, DSP assets (including Apple Music motion assets and Spotify canvases), outdoor advertising, and short-form video content.

Over the past four years we have firmly established ourselves as leading content creators in the music industry and beyond.

We work with a range of companies and organisations such as Warner Records, Dirty Hit, Polydor, Columbia, Island, AEG, Atlantic, Partisan, Deliveroo, WWF, Channel 5, and AWAL, among others. Some of our recent projects include Dua Lipa, De La Soul, Doja Cat, Metallica, Beyonce, Dermot Kennedy, U2, Anne Marie, Gorillaz, Elton John, Beabadoobee, David Bowie, Ed Sheeran, Calvin Harris, as well as Scorsese’s latest feature film Killers Of The Flower Moon and other feature films.

We also have dedicated research & development (R&D) time built into our designer’s monthly workloads so they can keep their skills sharp and minds fresh.

During each designer’s R&D time they can choose a project to create that will allow them to push their skillset without the boundaries of client expectations.
As we have a hybrid work model we maintain strong team bonds through regular catch ups and group activities such as summer and Christmas parties, and music industry events.

What are we looking for?

We are looking for a Designer & Animator to join our design team, working across our ever-growing roster of clients.

We’re looking for someone who is skilled in animation, graphic design and video editing. Experience in producing music-industry-specific content is a must, such as animated artwork, lyric videos and visualisers, Apple Music motion assets and Spotify canvases, as well as out-of-home advertising.

The role is wide-ranging so we are looking for a well rounded creative to join our versatile team.

Required Skills / Experience
  • An outstanding portfolio of projects including music-industry-specific work (such as animated artwork, lyric videos and visualisers, Apple Music motion assets and Spotify canvases)
  • High level of attention to detail in all aspects of graphic design, typography and motion graphics
  • A consistent work ethic and understanding of project timeframes
  • Organised and efficient
  • Great written and verbal communication skills
  • Advanced knowledge of design software (such as InDesign, After Effects, Premiere Pro, Photoshop, etc)
  • The ability to prioritise and multitask
  • Ability to act decisively and sensitively under pressure and tight deadlines, and adapt quickly and diligently to last-minute changes
  • The ability to problem solve and a proactive approach towards challenges

Nice To Have But Not Essential:

  • 3D Animation skills
  • Illustration skills
  • Videography skills
  • Photography skills
Personal Qualities:
  • Highly creative, with an eye for high-quality visuals and technical perfection

  • Has a love for music
Professional Experience
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role within a record label, artist management company, agency, creative studio or similar company
  • The successful candidate must have extensive experience working on music-specific projects

What does the role entail?
  • The successful candidate will work across our extensive roster of clients on a wide variety of projects such as official video content, out-of-home advertising, short-form social media content, digital ad suites, and much more.
  • The core responsibilities of this role focus around creative execution of design and animation, alongside ideation and creative direction.

Other Info

Hours: 09:30-18:00 Monday to Friday. You may be expected to work outside of these hours in exceptional circumstances.

Reporting to: Senior Project Manager and Head Of Creative Operations

Start date: July / August 2024
