Warner Music Group label Elektra Records is hiring for an A&R to be based in New York, Los Angeles or Nashville.
The role requires five to eight years’ experience with record making, signing and discovering artists.
The Elektra Records roster today includes artists such as Zac Brown Band, Fitz and the Tantrums, Kaleo, Brandi Carlile, Anderson East, Rainbow Kitten Surprise, Saint Motel and others.
Founded in 1950 by music pioneer Jac Holzman, Elektra had origins in traditional folk and ethnic music, since going on to launch the careers of seminal artists as Judy Collins, the Doors and the Stooges.
The label has championed a boundary-crossing roster, from the Eagles to Metallica.
In 2004, with the new independence of Warner Music Group following its sale by Time Warner, Elektra merged into the Atlantic Records Group and officially re-launched in 2009.
