The Ditto Plus Artist & Label Services team are an industry leading global distribution and Label Services company, offering a broad spectrum of Marketing & Promotional support for Independent artists, having worked with the likes of Chance the Rapper, Dave, Tunde, ELIO, Jaz Karis, Popcaan, Clairo, Digga D & many more.

As a Marketing & Promotions Co-Ordinator you will be required to work across a diverse roster executing detailed and innovative Marketing campaigns utilising Digital Marketing, Social Media Marketing, Creative Marketing, Audience Development and Promotions.


The Marketing & Promotions Co-Ordinator duties & responsibilities are:

  • Working across a roster of both emerging and well established artists, alongside the Label Services team, artist management & artist, implementing effective Marketing strategy with a critical eye for how to reach and engage with different artists existing and potential audiences and fanbases.
  • Conceiving and implementing industry leading marketing campaigns and strategies that reflects the vision and goals of the artist, management or label.
  • Collect and manage marketing and campaign assets, executing paid media campaigns across all major digital platforms and reporting back both internally and externally on campaigns, analysing performance of campaigns using analytics tools.
  • Communicating with management and artists on a regular basis to address concerns, manage expectations and generally maintain a good working relationship.
  • Ensuring timely delivery of all aspects of the marketing campaign in line with core project and approval route milestones.
  • Pro-actively providing insight, advice and creative planning support to partners in respect of their releases and catalogue.
  • Coordinating interview requests and promo schedules, actively seeking new platforms our artists may be suitable for whilst in promo cycle.
  • Working cross functionally with internal departments (Senior Staff, Trade Marketing, A&R, Promotions, Marketing) as well as external partners to ensure flow of information throughout the campaign.
  • Being aware of changes and developments in the music market, with particular emphasis on innovative marketing strategy.
  • Representing Ditto in meetings with existing and potential artists, artist management and labels, and in the wider industry, including attending gigs, panels, and spreading the word.

  • 2 Years experience working within a Marketing Role (preferably within the music industry)
  • Highly passionate about music, with a keen eye for emerging musical trends and marketing techniques applicable to the current landscape.
  • Enthusiastic about artist development and finding innovative and effective ways for artists to reach their audience and beyond.
  • A deep understanding of cultural trends, specifically involving social media platforms including Tik-Tok, Instagram, Snapchat, Facebook, YouTube and beyond.
  • Experience of paid-media digital marketing, having previously run digital marketing campaigns across multiple platforms, with knowledge of how to get the best out of them on a variety of budgets.
  • Good organisational skills with the ability to multi-task across a busy release schedule.
  • Strong communication skills and confident within a client facing role.
  • Proactive and positive with ability to independently initiate tasks and follow through to completion.
  • The ability to work to deadlines and work under pressure.
  • Flexible and adaptable approach to growing within a team and adapting processes as the business continues to grow and client-base evolves rapidly.
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred but not necessary.
