Digital Producer – ie:music

ie:music are looking for a Digital Producer who will form part of a small team alongside the Digital Manager and Head of Digital, to run and manage various artist digital properties.

Some of the responsibilities include:

  • Day-to­-day running and management of artists’ online platforms (websites, social media profiles, apps, online shop, database), including updating of content and removal of expired content campaigns across all platforms, optimising search engine rankings, site stickiness, user interaction and retention mailers and social conversation
  • Ensuring all content is fresh, on brand and inline with current profiles, in line with artist activity (Photoshop) and inline with general creative direction
  • Origination and proactive generation of content, including news,
  • Origination of copy and content for marketing messaging
  •  Updating of relevant platforms, including mobile apps and social media
  • Creating artwork assets, e.g. banners for campaign activity

Candidate background:

Eligible candidates must have a strong knowledge of the digital space and a good understanding of all digital platforms, from the web to smart devices. A good technical knowledge is also important, as is a passion for the fast growing digital world. The right person will see the benefits of being part of a tight team in a small organisation with the scope to develop within it.

The pace of the role is extremely fast, and strong organisational skills are required to work effectively and ensure job responsibilities are met. You will have experience of digital marketing and communication in a creative environment, along with a desire for further development.

Skills and knowledge:

  • A demonstrable track record of an advanced understanding in HTML
  • Photoshop (CSS is an advantage), along with good creative eye for design
  • A strong understanding of social media
  • A sound understanding of the impact of online communication
  • Previous CMS and other back end system experience
  • Good understanding of usability and online best practices
  • A strong interest in digital marking, new platforms and technologies
  • A passion for research and a scrupulous attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Flawless writing skills and English grammar
  • Strong design skills and a creative eye
  • Experience of writing for an online audience, ideally in acreative industry
  • Ability to assimilate information quickly
  • A solid grasp of the importance of brand identity and consistency
