Demon Music Group – Head of Sales (UK)

Demon Music Group is the UK’s largest independent record company specialising in the marketing of physical and digital catalogue music with repertoire sourced from both major and independent companies around the world as well as our own vast library of rights.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership and direction for the global sales team to deliver budgeted sales and contribution for sales of DMG product through physical retailers in all world territories.
  • Work closely with all key accounts and territories to develop strategic plans for retail activity and product development to deliver budgeted sales and contribution.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships to maximise sales opportunities.
  • Develop and execute a strategic plan to expand Demon’s customer base.
  • Develop a specific plan to exploit all platforms on the internet that are open to music retail.
  • Work with the Head of Product & Marketing to develop consumer insight in terms of music consumption and needs and desires to fuel the development of new product, exclusive product, range concepts and campaign activities to support the strategy.
  • Provide weekly reporting of sales and forecasts for all key accounts and territories and manage against targets.
  • Negotiate annual terms for all key accounts and territories to delivery strategy and sales.
  • Represent Demon Music Group in industry to raise profile of business.
