Social Media & Artist Liaison Officer

Cr2 Records is looking for an enthusiastic and creative person to manage our social media strategy, channels and arrange and carry out content creation days with artists.
Cr2 Records is an independent dance music label founded in 2004. We have released numerous global hits from the likes of HUGEL, Matt Sassari, Goodboys, Ofenbach and Merk & Kremont, and many more besides.
Two years experience with a record label or social media/marketing agency is a must.
Job Responsibilities
- Create detailed release plans for all new Cr2 Records releases in conjunction with our digital and A&R teams as well as artist management
- Regularly post content to Cr2s social media channels (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Twitter, YouTube, Discord), answer DM’s and respond to comments
- Liaise with Content Creation team to come up with ideas for social media content
- Stay aware of trends on main social platforms and ensure we are able to react if necessary.
- Implementing creative strategies to maximise potential and fan engagement across all platforms
- Liaise with artists to ensure they are posting in support of their releases and arrange collaboratorive posts.
- Plan and run Content Days with artists and managers – ensure artists know what they’re doing on the day, are looked after and that we get the content we need.
- Contribute to label meetings and planning sessions with reports on how content is performing and any new ideas.
- Liaise with third party social media channels to promote our releases.
- Manage Cr2’s Playlists on Spotify & YouTube, and arrange playlist swaps with other record labels and playlist curators.
- Represent Cr2 Records at various industry events throughout the year.
You’ll be working closely with our content creator who can make social assets and videos but some knowledge of Photoshop and Canva is preferred. Experience with running YouTube channels is also a bonus.
Applicants should show a familiarity with Cr2 Records and our artists, as well as a love of dance music
Working hours are 9:30-18:00 Monday-Friday, with Tuesday-Friday spent in our office and studio facilities in Tileyard Studios in Kings Cross.
Due to the nature of the role you may be required to work outside of office hours including weekends
