CR2 Records – Product Manager (UK)

We are looking for an experienced Product and Marketing Manager to manage all singles and albums / compilation releases at Cr2 Records. This will include all product and marketing assets, scheduling, promotion timelines and co-ordinating between all departments internally and teams externally to ensure the best possible product chart positions and sales for the label.

The successful candidate will also need to be actively engaging with external brands and companies in electronic music to a) maintain and develop existing relationships and b) source new brands for future joint product ventures, not necessarily in dance and electronic music. Product clients currently include Space Ibiza, Privilege Ibiza, Elrow, Blue Marlin, Nikki Beach and many others.

The role will include:
  • Presenting and coordinating thorough and detailed marketing plans developed along-side the Cr2 Records team whilst implementing ideas and experience into the overall projects.
  • Maintaining and managing detailed projects, ensuring timely delivery of all marketing assets for the promotion of key releases whilst sticking to marketing budgets, P&L’s and delivery timelines.
  • Strict management of all marketing budgets, P&L’s and sales forecasts for every project.
  • Implementing creative strategies to maximise potential and fan engagement across all platforms.
  • Demonstrating strong marketing skills and detailed campaign management.
  • Preparing and delivering sales and marketing reports to label management.
Candidate requirements:
  • Must be highly motivated and a self-starter.
  • Must have at least 3 years within a project management / artist relations / marketing role for a record label.
  • In depth knowledge and ability to think creatively.
  • Team player, and have the flexibility to work on many different aspects of the role at any one time, sticking to tight deadlines.
  • Experience of working at campaign manager level.
  • Proven capability to work autonomously, demonstrating the ability to make quick and important decisions.
  • Proven ability to contribute to innovative, creative and commercially successful marketing strategies with online, TV, radio, press / PR and all digital platforms.
  • Excellent relationship-building and relationship-management skills and the ability to deal with difficult situations with tact and diplomacy.
  • Strong communication skills, written and oral.
  • Extensive digital marketing experience with CPC, CRM and social media.
  • Proven knowledge of charts, trends and artists.
  • Wealth of contacts in electronic music and in both the independent and major music sectors
