Concord – SVP, Global Streaming (US)

As the SVP, Global Streaming, you will oversee the Global Streaming team and collaborate with all Concord labels to support and augment artist and campaign vision. As the lead, you will Initiate, develop, & execute on marketing strategies to drive streaming revenue, increase exposure and augment established marketing plans. You will partner with all stakeholders to ensure that consumer data is being properly collected, managed and analyzed to support marketing decisions and develop campaign strategies. In this role, you’ll strive to live out Concord’s core values; to celebrate artistry, act with integrity, empower our community, and create opportunity.

  • Management and daily support of existing team of DSP account managers
  • Daily department oversight that ensures all campaigns are executed at a high level
  • Create specific, tailored plans created to serve each artist at each DSP
  • Analyze data & research (artist history, benchmarks, previous campaigns, current campaigns) to formulate cohesive marketing strategies to lead throughout artist and release campaigns
Streaming Department Oversight:
  • Establish and manage department workflow. Communicate and augment marketing campaigns working in lock step with each label division to drive and maximize streaming efforts
  • Communicate DSP and industry news and changes
  • Evaluate opportunities, new technology to support and improve workflow, and/or create competitive market advantage
  • Constantly evaluate growth opportunities and partnerships with DSPs to drive artist development and career growth
  • Analyze and communicate weekly updates to the labels and executive team
  • Regularly travel for internal & external business meetings (including those with artists), events, conventions, seminars, & festivals to represent Concord Recorded Music priorities.
DSPs / Account Management:
  • Forecast DSPs can impact our campaigns, genres & specific artists and work on new creative marketing ideas to support Concord artists and labels
  • Ideate creative opportunities with the DSPs, artists/managers, labels, & internally with our department & execute on these ideas throughout the course of a campaign
  • Oversee regular business review ‘roadshow’ meetings with the DSPs
  • To ensure they are fully up to date on changes within Concord labels
  • To properly set up priority releases on a monthly/quarterly basis
  • To meet with priority artists & management who can set up projects directly with the key staff at DSPs
  • Track month over month & year over year revenue changes for Concord at the DSPs – both in comparison to ourselves and in comparison to changes in the industry
  • Dedicate resources to adjust our overall approach depending on what these numbers are telling us about Concord’s standing industry-wide
  • Ensure that any drastic changes are addressed appropriately
  • Pivot during campaigns & adjust appropriately depending on what these numbers are telling us
  • Minimum 10 years of music industry management experience
  • 5+ Years of DSP, Streaming Strategy and Execution Experience
  • High level of organization & time management required
  • Must be able lead a large team and move to execute campaigns with urgency
  • Must be highly proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Experience overseeing and training team members
  • Experience working as a liaison between multiple teams
  • Ability to work in high pressure situations
  • Ability to efficiently manage a high number of projects at once
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, take ownership of tasks, and delegate
  • Travel as needed
  • Knowledge of Smart Speaker and Podcasting Strategy a plus
