Concord – Project Manager, Concord Records (US)

As the Project Manager, Concord Records, you’ll be accountable for overall project development, acting as the project point person both internally and externally for assigned releases with responsibility for the overall marketing plan and budget.


Responsibilities

What you’ll do:

  • Create and manage long range planning for album releases from inception of the project through the life of the project.
  • Acts as the label point person for management and/or artists, as well as creating synergies between all internal departments, third party marketing companies, vendors, and venues.
  • Works with A&R department to ensure vision for each project is translated into the marketing plan for that project.
  • Works as facilitator with other departments to come up with a strong overall marketing plan and makes sure that they have the tools they need for each project.
  • Manages and is accountable for all marketing budgets for assigned releases.
  • Overall marketing point person for release, inclusive of socials, advertising and touring.
  • Manages overall execution of project timeline and sees that deadlines are met. Raises red flags immediately when an issue may affect a release; if possible, tries to anticipate such issues and proactively head off problems.
  • Primary communicator of relevant information of assigned releases to all concerned parties.
  • Works to create excitement for releases within the company and to seek the communication of that excitement through the marketing plans.
  • Assist with the development of music videos when applicable.
  • Label point person for Ticket Bundles and D2C for assigned artists.
  • Responsible for coordinating tour support requests.
  • Responsible for keeping project timelines and delivering marketing decks, one sheets, product sticker copy and additional assets as needed including advertising assets and copy.
  • Initiate and facilitate special promotions to increase brand awareness.
  • Provide onsite support for conferences, artist promo trips, music videos, live sessions, special events, and showcases.
  • Provides support for artists, managers, and internal departments.

Qualifications

What you’ll need:

  • Bachelor Degree in Business, Marketing, Music Management, or other related discipline required.
  • Minimum of 5+ years of business experience, preferably in music entertainment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills; ability to work with many different departments/personalities; works well in team environment.
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment and multi-task
  • Strong enthusiasm for music and culture
  • Experienced and engaged with all social platforms – TikTok, IG, Discord, FB, etc.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Highly self-motivated attitude; ability to work proactively at all times
  • Excellent creative marketing skills
  • Excellent artist and artist management relations skills
  • Excellent writing and proofreading skills
  • Excellent communications skills: professional, confident and positive demeanor.
  • Ability to work independently, make sound decisions and solve a variety of problems.
  • Ability to effectively lead marketing meetings on assigned projects with
  • Fantasy staff, label services and artists/artists’ management.
  • Travel within USA required (about 10-15%) and must be available to work outside of normal business hours, as needed
  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and SharePoint
  • General agreement and acceptance of the company’s core values.

*This is a hybrid role requiring 3 days minimum on-site.

Salary range: $85,000 – 95,000
