The Company

ClicknClear is a modern, dynamic, funded scale-up with first-mover advantage in a global market. We are a music rights tech and licensing company servicing choreographed sports and we:

  • Have rights to 26M+ copyrights from the biggest names in the music industry.
  • Have worldwide contracts with high-profile sports such as gymnastics, figure skating, the International Olympic Committee, marching bands and other performing arts organisations to license music to athletes from elite to grassroots level.
  • Provide sports federations with online music license verification services (using a variety of tech including AI) to protect themselves against music copyright infringements.
  • Provide live stream and Video on Demand licenses for sports online services to sports event producers and federations.
  • Provide arrangement rights licenses to marching bands and other performing arts organisations.

​​We are looking for a talented licensing/copyright administrator to join our fully remote working team as soon as possible, and hit the ground running during an exciting time of growth for the company.


Key Responsibilities

The primary purpose of this role is to assist our music team in copyright administration, research, and handling of license requests.

Licensing:

  • Research ownership information for license requests and cue sheets.
  • Respond to queries in a timely manner.
  • Assist with active arrangement rights license requests from start to finish.
  • Research new rightsholder contacts.
  • Communicate with end users and rightsholders for information + payments.

Content:

  • Assist the team in ensuring data integrity is upheld.
  • Assist the team in ingesting music and metadata from newly signed rightsholders.

Administration:

  • Assist the team in handling copyright ownership conflicts

Your Skills / Qualities
  • Demonstrate a good understanding of music copyright, with a minimum of 2 years of licensing or copyright administration experience, preferably at a music publisher.
  • Highly proficient in various computer programs including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Power Point) or Google Docs.
  • Knowledge of music licensing, copyright and PRO databases (e.g PRS, MLC etc).
  • Experience providing a high level of customer service, including handling high-volume correspondence and prioritising projects effectively while adhering to short deadlines and working well under pressure.
  • Highly organised and detail oriented with excellent data-entry, written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and take ownership for tasks with a pro-active, can do attitude.
  • Ability to work remotely
