Cantine – Creative Digital Manager (US)

We are looking for a passionate music enthusiast with a hunger and deep understanding of social media to become our new creative digital manager, joining our innovative team – doing real work, on awesome projects, from day one.

The ideal candidate should have a natural passion for music, people and culture. Our commitment to you is that you will get valuable hands-on experience in the modern music industry across a number of areas – working directly with artists, manager, labels and other music industry folks on the front lines.

Please note, this is creative social media + rock & roll; as much as we’d like it to be a 9-5 job, it’s just not. There is the expectation to be flexible with time and an understanding that reactive work can fall outside of regular business hours.

Required Education, Skills and Qualifications

Key responsibilities are:

  • Manage social media accounts with creativity, great engagement instinct and fluency in all the go-to platforms: Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat, YouTube / VEVO, Spotify, Apple Music/ Connect, Soundcloud, etc.
  • Create plans for the accounts you are managing & work with clients to execute social posting
  • Help prep pitches to DSP’s (Spotify / Pandora / Apple Music and more)
  • Help create artist email blasts
  • Craft and run Facebook, Instagram and other paid media campaigns
  • Above all else, we are looking for someone who wants to work hard to learn their craft, and bring their passion to their work.

Salary: Dependant on experience.

Required Education, Skills and Qualifications
  • Some experience in the music industry is a must
  • Strong organization and communication skills
  • Excellent verbal/written communication & copy-writing skills.
  • Project management skills (ability to track/oversee all aspects of a campaign)
  • Office/Google/Apple app literate (Word, Excel/Numbers, Powerpoint/Keynote, etc)
  • with basic social content creation tools (Final Cut/ Premiere Pro, Photoshop, etc)
  • Deep love for music and a curiosity to learn the business
  • Some videography and photography experience is preferred
  • Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Job Type: We are open to both part-time (25-29 hours a week) independent contractor position and if you are the right fit, it can grow from there.
