Bridger – Head of Business & Legal Affairs (FR/LX/BE)

You’ll be responsible for:
  • Defining, structuring, establishing the correct legal documentation, internal policies and procedures, adhesion contracts, legal framework
  • Advising the organization on the legal plan in particular and without limitations, on situations related to intellectual properties, author rights, RGPD, contractual terms, European/ national law and legislation -Engage and maintain the negotiations between the broadcasters that collaborate with the society, agree on licensing (musical streaming platforms, video services on requests) etc
  • Initiate and carry out negotiations with other companies to have the Bridger repertoire represented locally; actively participate in the process of recognition of the company by Cisac
  • Maintain and develop the company’s network of external counsels, according to the needs of the company’s deployment strategy
  • Be a strong and involved member of the executive committee in Bridger -Proactively observe and address legal and business risks
  • Developing the licensing department of the company
Technical Competences:
  • Demonstrable and solid experience in commercial law of 5 years plus
  • Experience in drafting and negotiating commercial agreements
  • Expertise in European collective right management directives, regulations, practice and licensing frameworks
  • Expertise in music publishing mechanisms
  • French and English knowledge speaking and reading is a must
