Manager YouTube, US

We’re seeking a dynamic Artist Channel and Account Manager to join our vibrant YouTube team in Los Angeles. If you’re passionate about music and skilled in channel management, this is your chance to make a global impact.

You will specifically ensure the best YouTube set up for the artists we work with, managing all aspects of channel management and optimization including ideation, playlist pitching, uploading videos, community, metadata optimization and audience management as well as monetization, together with our YouTube operations team.


What You’ll Be Doing.
  • Working with and across internal teams, artists/management and other content specialists for both catalogue and frontline recordings for domestic repertoire.
  • Work closely with the local Digital Marketing team to maximize opportunities & social strategies to grow channel engagement.
  • Active pitching and managing the relationship with the YouTube Music teams in Los Angeles.
  • Provide channel audits and identify new ways to market & grow global US repertoire.
  • Setting up top tier marketing looks such as YouTube Premiere, Live Redirect and Afterparty, etc.
  • Responsible for coordinating pitch solicitations from Product Managers and sending to YouTube.
  • Regular reporting of insights & trends to internal teams and artist managements.
  • Provide YouTube insights & trends on a weekly basis with global YouTube team.

Must-Haves
  • Ability to multi-task, manage multiple priorities, and work well under pressure within demanding timeframes.
  • Strong communicator who is confident to build collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to consistently learn and adopt within a fast changing environment.
  • Passion for music and video content.
  • A general understanding of the role of metadata, platform algorithms and the effect on content discovery/monetization.
  • Knowledge of building audiences in a digital environment.

It’s a plus if you have video editing skills and content creation

Pay Range: $65,000 – 72,000 per annum

The pay range listed above is dependent upon factors such as work experience, qualifications and business needs. In addition to the range above, this role is eligible for a discretionary annual bonus and applicable benefits.
