Job Description
As an A&R you will be responsible for identifying, signing, and developing talented songwriters and composers within the pop music genre. You will play a crucial role in expanding our catalog and fostering creative collaborations between our roster of talent and artists, labels, and other industry partners. This role requires a deep understanding of pop music trends, strong networking skills, and a passion for discovering and nurturing songwriting talent.

- An understanding of the importance of sync, and an ability to develop strong relationships with the sync community to promote our writers and catalog
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and evaluate emerging pop songwriters and composers with commercial potential
- Build and maintain relationships with songwriters, producers, music supervisors, and other industry professionals
- Provide creative input and guidance to songwriters and composers throughout the songwriting process
- Develop relationships with the sync community to pitch songs for placement opportunities in film, TV, advertising, and other media
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments in the pop music landscape
Qualifications
- Proven experience in A&R within the pop music genre, preferably in a music publishing context (preferred but not required)
- Strong industry network and relationships with songwriters, producers, and industry professionals (preferred but not required)
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Passion for pop music and a keen ear for identifying hit potential in songs
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
Compensation: $65,000 – $68,000 / year + bonus incentives & health benefits
