Social Media Duties
- Plan, design, implement and monitor social media marketing campaigns
- Create, curate and manage the acquisition, production, and publishing of content for artists via the core creative team, labels & artists
- Create comprehensive audience development and social media plans, optimizing for discovery, growth, revenue and deliver as a two-week schedule to each artist & team
- Create innovative and engaging ways to drive user-generated content and third-party content to feature in programming and increase artist’s discoverability
- Cultivate the artist’s relationship with their fanbase by engaging users with prompt responses, initiatives and competitions and two-way communication
- Track social media campaign key performance indicators to maximize results and report progress to clients
- Execute the programming for all approved schedules across all social media platforms
- Coordinate activities to achieve social media campaign objectives with internal support staff where needed in additional to external stakeholders
- Deliver a monthly stat report to every client showcasing growth and strongest performing posts
- Monitor social media trends, including developments in content concepts, platform functionality, new applications, strategy and innovation to stay relevant and effective
- Lead and maintain weekly meetings with all artists and teams
- Ensure clear, concise and regular communication with artists and teams via email, WhatsApp and calls
- Work across TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Discord, Reddit and all other social media platforms
Blackstar Admin
- Oversee West Coast team project admin including pitches Measuring project performance to identify areas for improvement,assisting in any technical issues.
- Pitch building and presentations for potential new clients
- Weekly social team meetings.
- Organizing assets on Dropbox.
- Any other ad hoc duties.
