Job Description
Our mission is to provide the best distribution services for independent labels and artists with passion, innovation, care and transparency.
As a Head of Video & Audience Development, you will be responsible for a team of Channel Managers and lead the team to deliver our services.
Thanks to a perfect understanding of our products and clients’ needs, a solid marketing strategy, and in-depth thinking of the music market, you will be able to build the best audience development strategy for our artists & labels and lead your team of Channel Managers.
Missions
1/ Team Management:
- Provide daily support to Channel Managers team on their important issues and ensure internal video processes application
- Onboarding and Training of new Channel Managers
- Ensure the highest level of expertise of the team with the latest industry best practices and internal new tools
- OKRs definition and monitoring, aligned with Regional Business Objectives and global VAD OKRs
- Work with the Global Head of VAD – LAS in order to help localize global strategies for the teams
- Ensure that all Channel Managers are available and participate in projects coming from the Global team
- Provide updates and solutions on issues with processes, internal tools or platforms to the Global Head of VAD
2/ Audience Development:
- Identify and monitor key metrics to optimize account performance across different DSPs & SoMe
- Develop and implement a content strategy across the Business Unit to ensure audience development and revenue growth
- Elaboration of regional business reviews focusing on account KPIs & best practices implementation
- Investigative mindset regarding market trends
- Ensure that qualified clients renew their contracts
3/ Sales:
- Regional market prospection with the goal to find artists & labels to pitch
- Provide strategic feedback and advice to Heads of Sales and Distribution to determine and adjust business objectives
- Produce the supporting materials and participate in target and client’s meetings
- Work with HoS to ensure client portfolio renewal
- Build and maintain the highest level of relationship with key video platforms & SoMe in the region
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience (Business, Marketing, Communication or any other related)
- Experience in team management and in the music industry
- Excellent written and oral communication in English
- Data-driven mindset and strong analytical skills
- YouTube CMS & Social Media experience
- Previous experience in DSPs is a bonus
- Structured, priority-driven and with the ability to multi-task and juggle various projects at the same time
- Passionate about music, social media and digital marketing
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
- Knowledge of UK music market
