Global Digital Partnerships Manager (12 month maternity cover FTC)


Overview

Beggars Group is a group of independent labels comprising 4AD, Matador, Rough Trade, XL and Young headquartered in London and New York

As part of the team that oversee commercial negotiations and account management with Beggars’ digital partners, the Global Digital Partnerships Manager will provide essential support for the Director by providing deal performance analysis, operational and onboarding support and monitoring marketplace trends across the digital landscape.

This is a full time role working from our London SW18 office (currently hybrid, minimum 3 days per week in the office), willing to travel when needed, which could be frequently, and reporting to the Global Director of Commercial Strategy. The successful candidate will also update our staM and labels on new digital partner deals, changes to existing deals, and report to stakeholders and senior management on material developments in the marketplace.


Working with the Global Director of Commercial Strategy the successful candidate will
  • Provide digital partner analysis & reports to monitor licensee performance.
  • Create and deliver reports for senior management and labels to enhance understanding of the evolving digital marketplace
  • Identify and nurture new licensing opportunities for the group, being the first point of contact for new enquiries and having the understanding to identify those that would bring most value to the business.
  • Analyse potential partnership deals with the ability to input on appropriate rates and commercial terms based on both experience and data analysis.
  • Manage global partnerships deals, including the license renewal cycle and managing regular business reviews with key partners, working closely with Beggars Operations, Streaming, Legal and Marketing teams.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
  • A least 2 years experience in a business development role within a fast-paced and dynamic environment, preferably with a record label or DSP
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Strong understanding and experience with MS Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
  • Comfortable working with large data sets via tools such as Tableau as well as being comfortable with data manipulation on the desktop via Excel
  • Excellent English language with other spoken language skills an advantage
  • Prior experience providing reports to senior management
  • A deep understanding and passion for music, digital media and culture coupled with a structured approach to analyse potential partnerships to deliver the best opportunities for our labels and their artists
