Awesome Distro – Client and Ecomm Manager: Artists & Record Labels (US)

Due to continued growth in our Awesome Distro service, we are looking to recruit a Client and Ecomm Manager into the company.

The successful candidate will play an important role in making sure our key clients are serviced to the highest standard based on their individual needs & our internal standards.

The role will take ownership & oversee the management of existing key clients, and the onboarding of new business across the Awesome Distro service, to facilitate the delivery of their vision for product, e-commerce & merchandise sales.

Key areas of responsibility will include:

Client Services
  • On-boarding of new clients & stores
  • Project management & coordination of the e-com & client services team
  • Establishing defined communication schedules with key clients; weekly / monthly calls & reporting 
  • managing service improvements projects & reviews to ensure continuous improvement
  • Liaising with the accounts team to ensure all invoices & charges are up to date
  • Customer service resourcing, scheduling & reporting
Ecommerce
  • Building client web stores on existing templates across multiple platforms where required, e.g. Limited Run, Shopify, etc. 
  • Maintaining web stores & apps, updating copy & content as per client’s requirements 
  • Building new products out on web-stores, preparing and proofing with clients ready for launch 
  • Listing & functionality of digital downloads & codes
  • Setup & management of new & existing chart reporting including single music
  • Payment processing including but not limited too pay-pal, stripe, apple pay & google pay
  • Working alongside the e-com fulfilment manager to ensure shipping integration with the logistics team ensuring projects are delivered & scheduled to meet client needs
Online Inventory management
  • Reporting; inventory, out of stock products 
  • Minimising out-of-stocks, promoting items with high inventory to sell
    through, processing new stock orders, ensuring sizes are split accordingly, 
  • Co-ordinating stock incoming / outgoing with clients, awesome internal team
    and external manufacturers 
  • management of order issues to ensure they are actioned & dealt efficiently with in a timely manor 
Marketing
  • Working alongside the wider team to develop & co-ordinate marketing plans for the client to maximise sales and revenue, in line with their release plan & schedule. 
Tour / Live
  • Coordinating stock outs and deliveries across the US, UK & Europe for touring artists
  • Proactive communication with artists, TMs, merch managers etc to ensure clients have adequate stock
  • Organising mid-tour re-ups
  • Creating & developing a network of merch sellers for clients to use
  • Meeting merch selling teams and training them on PDQ usage
Team Management
  • Team scheduling & resourcing to ensure maximum efficiency
  • Supervise effective staff performance management to ensure Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) & are developed and reached
  • Take responsibility for process improvement and team development to continually improve performance
  • Develop a high performing culture and coach junior staff to achieve their potential.

Key Skills

Hours

Standard shifts – Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:30pm

On occasion you may be required to work weekends for events or client & business development purposes. Additional hours are paid pro rata or back in lieu as holiday upon review.

Awesome Distro is an alternative platform for bands, brands, and artists. Designed to empower creatives to effectively reach their audiences and enhance their online retail offering, we aim to simplify the process of selling.

We provide an end-to-end distribution service for our partners. This includes merchandise production, e-commerce development, customer service, stock and order management, and online order and tour fulfilment.

All of this happens in-house from our merchandise production factories, in Austin TX & Leeds UK, meaning we are in full control over every aspect of the operation.
