Job Title: Studio Manager

The ideal candidate for the Studio Manager position is an individual with 2+ years of experience maintaining and overseeing the daily operations of a professional recording studio.

This role involves daily setup, restocking, and interactions with clients / guests. On top of the daily tasks, this role will also assist with occasional events hosted at the studio house. The studio manager must be a positive, friendly individual with a passion for organization and hospitality.

Daily Responsibilities
  • Setup of studio ambience and equipment
  • Stocking supplies, snacks, and drinks
  • Ordering / setting up lunch
  • Greeting session / meeting attendees throughout the day
  • Touring new visitors around the studio
  • Maintaining organization of supplies, including studio equipment
  • Assisting sessions with initial setup upon arrival, and equipment assistance throughout sessions
  • Additional assistance for A&Rs, Marketing Team, etc.

General Responsibilities
  • Managing / ordering supply stock
  • Management of the studio calendar
  • Frequent communication with A&Rs / Operations Team
  • Communication with cleaning staff, property manager, and other consultants
  • Equipment maintenance oversight
  • Assisting with execution of events (ordering, setup, teardown)
  • Managing / tracking studio-related expenses
  • Maintaining quality / ambience / safety of studio
  • Frequent socializing with guests, clients, and other music industry professionals

  • 2+ years of relevant experience as a studio manager for a professional recording studio
  • Fundamental understanding of Google Suite, Slack, Zoom, etc. preferred
  • Self-motivated team player
