This is an opportunity for a highly organised, forward thinking Day-to-day Manager to join a team consisting of the Director of the company and one of our Artist Managers within our Camden, London office. The ideal candidate will need to be personable, adaptable, team-oriented, highly organised and possess very high attention to detail. They will need to have a minimum of 2 years working within an arts-based organisation and be capable of functioning to a very high level in a fast-paced environment.
Primary tasks and Responsibilities:
- Executive assistance to the Director including but not limited to; diary management, scheduling meetings, research, booking travel, handling expenses
- Manage Artists diaries, travel logistics and itineraries
- Prepare simple budgets for performances, recordings and events and manage the timelines and deliverables of those things
- Assist with administrative tasks relating to the procurement of visas, passports, insurance policies, carnets, and other necessary business forms and functions
- Engage with Artists social media requirements i.e scheduling, copywriting, data transfers, asset delivery, post optimisation
- Act as key point of contact for all third parties, filtering information as needed to the Director/ Manager/ Artist.
- Act as a central point for the wider team to share information and plan, including record companies, labels, publishers, agents, lawyers, business managers and more
- Communicate effectively with those teams ensuring confidentiality and discretion at all times
- Work closely with various accountants in relation to invoicing, payments, and income-tracking
- Handle copyright registrations and live performance reporting with PROs and agents (e.g PPL, PRS, BMI). Maintain accurate discographies, synchronisation confirmations and payments and song split sheets. Spot-check royalty statements for inaccurate reporting
- Review sync and branding opportunities as required and manage sync databases
- Liaising with relevant merchandise companies and assisting in the maintenance of webstores
- Keen to travel both within London and internationally in order to undertake various tasks on behalf of management and artists
The ideal candidate will be:
- 2+ years in one or more of the following roles: Artist Management, event planning or touring and production
- Extremely well organised with strong time-management skills
- An exceptional communicator
- A ‘can do’ attitude and a willingness to deliver help where required
- Operate well within a team and be adaptable
- Quick-thinking, resourceful, and entrepreneurial
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Possess a strong degree of computer literacy including proficiency in Excel
- Have a strong familiarity with social media usage, Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, Soundcloud etc
- Capable of basic image and video-editing
- Passionate about art, aesthetics, people and music
- Willing to travel
