Job tasks:
- Maintain a strong network of creatives when needed to commission work such as a music video (graphic designers, videographers, photographers, production studios etc.)
- Commission and build treatments for (or alongside) artists for videos, social content, artwork and more.
- Develop mood boards for projects to ensure a clear, specific direction for each asset
- Create or manage the creation and timely delivery of those assets and associated deadlines
- Collaborate with marketing and digital departments to create compelling artist single and album rollout campaigns
- Designing merchandise and overseeing production
- Control and allocate creative budgets
- Juggle tight deadlines and high level projects at one time, keeping those involved up to date & responding in a timely manner
- Delegate work to creative manager, work as a team member
Requirements:
- Proven track record working at a record label or similar experience
- Experience working with artist ranging from A-list stars to new projects.
- Experienced in the development and execution of a range of content from live experiences to branded content
- Ability to translate an artist’s vision into a reality
- Copywriting and design skills which used to communicate concepts effectively and deliver strong pitch proposals
- Collaborative member of the team, who works well with others and within short time frames
- Experience effectively leading and communicating with teams with multiple stakeholders, management teams, and creatives
- Proven track record collaborating with motion designers, technologists, live production teams, product designers and vendors to seamlessly execute projects – with a clear understanding of budgeting and scheduling
- Solid organisational skills, able to hit deadlines, and can manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong knowledge and experience with key ‘presentation’ programs. PowerPoint (occasionally Keynote) and design tools such as Photoshop/In Design, or similar
- A self-starter that takes initiative on projects to bring compelling new ideas and creative concepts to the table with the follow through to execute them.
