Impact: As the Head of Audience at AEI Music Ltd, you will lead the marketing team in developing and executing innovative and creative campaigns that directly impact on the growth and engagement of our labels, artists, community, and brands.
Work with the marketing & music team to develop and execute marketing campaigns, harnessing your extensive experience in audience building, paid media marketing, data analysis, and various other marketing channels.
This includes managing ad campaigns on Google, Meta & TikTok, working with the team to engage with our audience on social media, forge influencer partnerships, and dissect data to continue to build out our label communities and audiences on platforms like YouTube, Meta, Spotify & others.
As our expert on digital marketing and advertising in the world of electronic music, you will work with AEI Music label managers, social media managers and music teams, setting and developing and executing realistic budgets and targets. Your leadership extends to nurturing and developing the AEI Music Marketing Team, empowering them to effectively prioritise tasks and requests among our diverse brands.
Skills & Knowledge
Marketing Mastery: Comprehensive knowledge of digital and physical music projects and marketing techniques, including digital advertising, paid media platforms, creator marketing, and data analytics.
Audience Insights: An in-depth understanding of audiences, communities, and brands, with a track record of growing and engaging them effectively. Ability to identify, track & report relevant audience metrics through data dashboards and regular team updates.
Music Industry Acumen: Profound knowledge of (electronic) music genres and their distinct audiences. Understanding streaming algorithms and the impact on music streams, understanding label branding and the impact on A&R.
Innovative Thinking: Adept at promoting innovation, exploring creative solutions, and pushing boundaries to stay ahead of industry trends.
Communication: Excellent communication skills to liaise with diverse stakeholders, including artists, music professionals, and internal teams.
Project Management: Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple projects with varying timelines and budgets.
Digital Proficiency: Comfortable using digital tools, advertising platforms, task management (Airtable, Asana), and CRM (e.g., Mailchimp, ActiveCampaign) to optimise marketing efforts.
