The central focus of the Client Reporting Manager is to deliver a first-class reporting service to all ALS digital music clients.
Reporting into the Head of Finance and working alongside the operations, development and finance teams, this varied role will require excellent attention to detail and will take full ownership of our monthly client reporting for digital music revenue.
The Duties
- Ensure that clients receive comprehensive monthly financial reporting in line with set timeframes
- Collecting and analysing settlements from DSPs for all digital music revenue
- Ensuring accurate data is supplied on the monthly statements for ingesting into our in-house portal
- Reconciling the digital revenue at month end and liaising with finance for updates on receipts, payment dates, exchange rates etc
- Work with relevant departments to address all client queries in relation to the monthly reporting for both revenue and costs
- Interpreting contracts and statements alongside the Head of Digital and Head of Finance and onboarding of new clients into the reporting and finance systems
- Ensuring all revenue is allocated correctly to our Rightsholders/Labels
- Identifying areas for improvement in existing reporting process and streamlining overall output
The Candidate
- 3+ years proven experience in client reporting for a record label or distributor or similar
- Passionate about music, interested in working within a creative, music industry environment
- Excellent analytical skills
- Advanced MS Office skills
- Advanced Excel skills and google sheets
- Knowledge of Excel Power Queries and Xero an advantage
- Ability to pick up new systems at ease
- Ability to prioritise manage your own workload in a busy environment • Excellent people and communication skills
