300 Entertainment is one of the most prominent independent record labels in the country.
Our cross-functional operations department brought all of our major core processes in house over the last two years, and we are building the infrastructure for 300 to continue to grow.
We are looking for an experienced mechanical licensing and royalty manager to join our team!
In this position you will be responsible for mechanical licensing, mechanical royalty calculation, and the production and distribution of royaltor statements.
In addition, this role will also support the master and publishing royalty processing teams with song/track registrations, sales/earnings entry, reconciliation, royaltor inquiries, internal inquiries/reporting, and statement distribution.
Candidates must have a solid and functional understanding of the music publishing/recorded music business.
Must be particularly experienced with the management of mechanical licensing and royalty processing/accounting practices and procedures; including but not limited to:
- Writer and Publisher Research
- Publisher Outreach and Claims Management Process
- Royalty Software
- Management and Data Entry
- Statement Reconciliation
- Royaltor Inquiries
- Statement Production and Delivery
- Record/Publishing Contract Review and Interpretation
- Internal Reporting and Analysis
Strong Excel skills, royalty software experience, fine attention to detail, and the ability to work with large data sets are a must.
The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience with a record label and/or music publisher in a similar capacity.
